2010 Scruggs Reunion Update



Welcome back to 2010 Scruggs Family Reunion blog!! The 2010 committee is continuing to work on making this year’s reunion one of the most fun and memorable reunions to date. We have a few updates that I will mention in a moment, but first we want to stress to everyone how important it is for you to participate in making the reunion a success. We will be soliciting help in selected areas in the near future, but right now we need everyone to get the word out. There are numerous members who are not aware that the reunion is being held this year, so please pass the word. As we mentioned in the last posting the reunion host site will be the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Huntsville. You may begin making your hotel reservations anytime after February 18th. We are again asking all family members to stay at the Embassy on Saturday night July 17th. The cost for this year’s reunion is $52 for Adults and $35 for children under 10. The committee will be sending out letters and emails starting next week. When you get the reunion information we are asking that you reserve your spot with a down payment of at least half the cost by March 25Th or you may pay the full amount. Our goal is to have at least 100 paid family members to join us this year. So please don't hesitate in responding. We will be updating the blog periodically, so please check back often. Let's make this year's reunion another memorable one. Plese note the schedule of events posted below.

3:00 pm Hotel Check-in
5:30- 6:30 pm Hospitality and managers reception at Embassy Suites

6:30 – 11:30 pm Reunion Banquet catered by Ruth’s Chris Steak House

Saturday, July 17
3:00 – 6:30 pm Fun filled old time picnic at the home of Charles & Deborah Scruggs

6:30 pm - Until Fun evening of activities (TBD)

Sunday, July 18
8:30 – 10:00 AM Breakfast at Embassy Suites

TBD Worship Services at TBD

1:00 pm Lunch (TBD)
